Safe Sport

At GSA we care about the safety and welfare of all of our athletes. GSA adheres to the practices and policies of USA Swimming’s Safe Sport Initiative. Click here for more information about SafeSport.

Mission Statement

At GSA, this mission depends on fostering a positive team culture and providing a safe, supportive environment for every swimmer. Our Board of Directors and coaching staff are fully committed to athlete protection and to upholding the highest standards of conduct. Protecting our athletes is a shared responsibility. Parents, coaches, officials, board members, and volunteers all play an important role in creating a safe and respectful sport environment. The policies and resources below are designed to clarify expectations, responsibilities, and reporting processes for everyone involved. These policies are more than documents on a website; they reflect core values we actively practice every day. We believe that healthy relationships, appropriate boundaries, and mutual respect are essential life skills that can be developed through sport. We ask all members of our community to join us in this commitment. Please review the information below and reach out if you have any questions.
