GSA VOLUNTEERS
GSA relies on the support of our families to successfully host swim meets, team events, and other activities throughout the year. Volunteering is also a great way to become involved in the GSA community and support our swimmers.
SWIM MEET VOLUNTEERS
Hosting a swim meet requires many volunteers. Opportunities include a variety of positions, and family members and older siblings may also be able to help depending on the position and age requirements.
Volunteer sign-ups will be shared with families before each GSA-hosted meet.
OFFICIALS
Certified USA Swimming officials are an essential part of running successful meets, and GSA is always grateful for their support.
If you are a certified official or are interested in learning more about becoming an official, please contact admin@gsaswim.org
VOLUNTEER COMMITTEES
Serving on a GSA committee is a great way to support our swimmers, strengthen our team community, and share your time and talents with the organization.
HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE
Helps create a welcoming environment at GSA-hosted meets by coordinating food, beverages, and hospitality for coaches, officials, volunteers, and meet personnel.
SOCIAL COMMITTEE
Plans and supports team activities such as social events, celebrations, team-building activities, and the end-of-season banquet to help build connections among swimmers and families.
FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Develops and supports fundraising opportunities that help GSA meet its financial goals and provide resources for the continued growth of the program.
SUMMER LEAGUE & CITY MEET MARKETING COMMITTEE
Helps promote GSA within the Greensboro swimming community, particularly during the summer league season and City Meet, through outreach, promotional materials, and community engagement.
